Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) for In State and Out-of-State Drivers

In North Carolina, if you are driving with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of greater than .08, you will be arrested for a DWI and your license will be automatically revoked for 30 days. If you are convicted, and depending upon your record, you could get up to 2 years in prison. Other stiff penalties associated with a DWI conviction, include:
